Lufthansa's A380 fleet growing
Lufthansa will take delivery of its second A380 July 21 in Frankfurt prior to a naming ceremony in Munich on the 28th. Starting Aug. 2, the new aircraft will be used between Frankfurt and Tokyo to raise the number of flights from three each week to daily.
Starting Sept. 1, Lufthansa is to begin flying three times a week from Frankfurt to Peking with its third A380. A daily flight will be possible on the route when the fourth A380 joins the fleet at the end of October. From Oct. 25, the airline is planning to start A380 flights between Frankfurt and Johannesburg three times a week.
